What started as a casual eating place only open for lunch, has grown into all day restaurant and take-away, entirely due to demand. What makes Flava so appealing is that you will never, yes never be disappointed. The menu is big enough for variety and small enough to guarantee freshness of ingredients and a quality fare. Your dining experience is... More

We visited "Flava Cafe" with friends and it was a lovely, happy experience!! We sat inside as it was a bit chilly that evening but it is really lovely sitting outside on the upstairs deck when it is warm. As we have a guesthouse, we often send our guests to "Flava" and they always enjoy their meals. A great deal... More

I can hardly find words to describe the freshness of the food, the friendlyness of staff and kitchen chef Jaques (who came to our table to hear how our dinner was), the creativeness in interior design (everything fitted so well together it was a pleasure to look at), and most of all the great taste!! The Flava team does definitely... More

Nice and casual daytime café located in the Wilderness village. Offering coffees, cakes, light lunches, etc. They also run an adjoining fish shop selling excellent fish and chips for lunch time take-aways. Same owners as The Girls, share the same kitchen, so food quality is excellent.

Everything about our meal here was just a bit off; well-intentioned and OK, but so many things about the service and the food just seemed a little amateurish. It was as if it was our waitress' first night and she had only the faintest idea of what a waitress should do - forgot menus for 10 minutes, didn't pour water,... More

Not saying that Flava is only good for Sunday lunch, but it is probably one of the best Sunday lunches I have ever had! The thing that impressed us most is that we pitched up only looking for coffee at around 11am, although the place was filling up with a lot of 'locals' (from George) for lunch, yet we were... More
