We went to Rudy's for dinner and ordered the following:
Curry Shrimp - Was good but not great
Prime Rib - Not the typical prime rib I am use to having in the states but it was a very low quality piece of steak. It was dry and bland. The sides that came with the steak was also bland.
We...

After reading rave reviews on TripAdvisor, and reading about this restaurant in guide books, our group had to try Le Rudy's. To my disappointment, Rudy seems to be riding the coat tails of his own past success. Our experience was poor, beginning with the van pickup from the Hilton. The female driver, who doubles as a waitress, seemed to have...

I loved the low key ambience, hurricane candles flickering on the tables, windows open to the evening air. No bugs, but I understand in May they aren't In Season. The two glasses of Bordeaux I had were tasty, but I am not knowledgeable in that area. I had a mixed green salad, with lettuce and green beans. And parrot fish,...

Good food particularly the catch of the day, which was sooo fresh! Other patrons also commented on the good taste of their shrimp dish. We ordered a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and a glass of Chadonnay but they both tasted the same. We asked to confirm our order, to which the waiter politely said he poured the wine himself and...

Food was amazing, we ordered entrees and mains, couldn't fit dessert in. My hubby had snails which were delicious, I had scallops which were pretty food too. Mains he had seafood casserole and I had the parrot fish - both were brilliant, good size and so so tasty! The service was good, restaurant wasnt overly flash looking but that didnt...

My husband, daughter and I dined at Rudy's in March. We were picked up at our hotel by a female restaurant employee who was business-like. We had reservations and were seated right away. About half of the tables were filled. Everything began fine. Normal service of delivering water and menus. When we ordered we decided to split everything so we...

The food is great, the atmosphere good, and the service was outstanding. The parrot fish is their specialty, but all the food we tasted was great. The owner is a very nice man who is quite helpful. They will pick you up from nearby hotels if you don't have transportation. We highly recommend it.
What a great meal in a part of the world that puts most others to shame. Rudy is the chef and his creations are delicious yet casual. Everything is made that much better with their small but lovely wine list. There's no attitude here, just honest to goodness good food that makes for a lovely night.
Rudy will come and talk with you and explain the menu. His son is the Chef. The Parrot fish is to die for!!!! With a good bottle of wine, and you'll have a wonderful evening!
