This is part of Hotel Costa Verde and has pizza and hotdogs. It is the most casual of the restaurants at the hotel. I would get the veggie pizza and you will be happy!

My husband and I visited El Wagon on the recommendation of Tripadvisor reviews and were not disappointed. When we arrived there was someone aiding with parking which I can imagine could get very hard to find during peak season. The ovens are right by the front entrance and the pizza guys put on quite a show, tossing and spinning the... More

A generous portion, loads of fries and the waiter was not wrong when he told us the beef was good quality, my girlfriend ordered a fish wrap which went down a treat as well. Plus free WiFi which was a bonus! We ate there three times on the trot we liked it so much :) Very chilled and you can... More

After 5 they fire up the woodfired pizza oven and you shouldn't expect anything but the best! I love woodfired pizza and I'm not sure if it was the atmosphere or the service, but I was in heaven. The toppings were not your typical fresh from the can ingredients but fresh fresh from the trees and local farm ingredients. Yum!... More

This was a fun restaurant just across the street from our hotel Falls Resort and the staff at the hotel suggested we give it a try. The atmosphere was very relaxing with outside seating and a jungle experience and some glimpses of the ocean. The beer and drinks were good and the pizza really hit the spot. We sat with... More

Cesar was our server both times we went to the Wagon. He was so friendly and helpful. Answered all of our questions, had great conversation about Costa Rica, the language, the way of life there. The pizza was very good here. Also, the vegetarian wrap - very yummy!!!

After spending $100 for dinner almost every night and sometimes walking away still hungry, El Wagon was a nice surprise. Nestled in the forest, you can get a pizza large enough for 2 people to share, with 2 beers, for $17 US. We didn't go to Costa Rica to eat pizza but we spent so much money on other attractions... It was 8:30 at night, we were hungry this was the only place open. So glad it was, we had a margarita pizza, with pineapple added,it was awesome, thin crust. Yummy. It was very, reasonable 1 large pizza, 2 drinks $20.00. We're going back for sure.
