Excellent, friendly service. Ate breakfast/brunch 2 days in a row. All items were fresh and delicious. The coffee cakes were fantastic. Nice, comfortable atmosphere.

It's fine if one's missing paying out steep prices for coffee at the local Starbucks. We found the baked goods hit or miss .. But at least they had a good variety. Really average croissants ( too dense) and worse apple pie. But as with every place in CR .. Very welcoming, friendly and warm people.

We went there for breakfast both of the days we were in the area. Great coffee and fresh pastries. The staff is charming and the service excellent. Try the Costa Rican breakfast. Located on the left hand side of the main road just before Burger King just as you head into La Fortuna coming from Arenal heading into La Fortuna.

My husband and I ate here 3 different meals-all excellent. We stayed at the Springs and this was a nice stop for breakfast or lunch. We have lived in La Fortuna for a year and this is the only place that I can truly say has some amazing breads! Had the brownie and ice cream and coffee this week based on the reviews on trip advisor. It was a nice experience for someone who would like a break from the usual CR offerings.
