We booked a table for 9pm and ended up eating at 9.50pm. This wouldn't have been too bad except for the overly rude manager who refused to apologise or give us any kind of compensation for the wait. And it wasn't just us, many others were also waiting, and for a lot longer than us. Once we got to the... More

Enjoyed a lovely Saturday lunch with friends on the Bund. Spacious restaurant with delicious Chinese food, nice selection of beer and wines and friendly service. The menu offers a myriad of choices with English subtitles and appetite pleasing pictures. My favourite was the lettuce wraps with pork filling....the ribs and dumplings were delicious too! All in all a great dining... More

It is a very good restaurant, all the food served that night was very tasty. The ambiance is quite nice, a bit loud though (The room is very big and often crowded it seems). Like many places on the Bund, there was a majority of foreigners so one could doubt if it is typical chinese food or not, but it... More

We (2 adults + 2 kids aged 7+12) spend a nice evening. The terrasse is nice for drinks, the restaurant is good - food is from all over China. Try the Tibetan lamb chops. Guest a mix of families, friends and business - a nice mix. Tip: you need to book in advance

Good Food, decent price - They didn't have my first choice but I was mid way between lunch and dinner so not too surprised Feels a bit like you are in a different era, but you look out a a combination of modern and history. Very good service

Excellent food! Had a lovely dinner last weekend and was pleasantly surprised with the restaurant. We stayed downstairs in the bar/lounge area which I can recommend. Upstairs is a huge and busy restaurant which might attract some, but we preferred downstairs. Amazing food, amazing wine, amazing building and very friendly staff. On top of that the proces are very good.... More

My normal routine when a friend is in town is to first bring them to Lost Heaven on the bund. Followed by a stroll on the bund to see the lights from both sides of the bund. For Shanghai, Lost Heaven's price is not expensive, usually average to 100 RMB per person. go ahead and order any dish... really, you... More

The hotel recommended this restaurant and the place was buzzing with noise and crowded with hundred if patrons. It was very efficient, the food very good indeed and made for a great experience

What was a one off is growing into a chain (also coconut paradise) but working hard to maintain the quality that has let them grow Always a hit with out of town visitors who are a bit anxious about Chinese food. Service is good although sometimes the pace of arrival of dishes could be better coordinated. One irritation is they... More

This restaurant was hard to get into for our party of 2, but after some negotiation, we did get a table and it was very nice food and attentive service. It was a Friday night and very popular place, and glad we had a chance to try it. Huge selection of items, and good wines by the glass as well.
