Decent food, great value for money, and the dancing guy wins it every time for me. How can anyone look so happy all night long?

There are very few places in China, where you find good indian food. This place is one of them. YOu get punjabi thali and i just loved it. After two days of having typical Chinese food, i just went crazy with Punjabi food. Very good place if any Indian visiting Shanghai.
We decided to check out Punjabi our last night in Shanghai. It was buffet style dinner for 100Rmb. The staff was attentive and the ambience was nice. The buffet had a decent variety but we had to order butter chicken separately off the menu. I dont recommend the butter chicken. It is usually our favouritei dish but we didnt finish...

When we have a group of friends that want to go out for something out of the ordinary (non-chinese) we always consider Punjabi on Huaihai. For the price, you get your moneys worth, especialy if you're drinking beer. I personally don't drink beer and wish they offered some other alcoholic option, but you can't please everyone. We like it!
VAlue for money..and very convinient location. In the down town. Look for tandoori dishes, they are great.
I had a Buffet dinner at this hotel. The food was good, and the service was okay. They could work a little on the ambience to make it more cozy for the guests.
Have been here a number of times and just finished a "luncheon plate special." At Punjabi Restaurant you will get a constant, value, service and atmosphere. If you like Indian food, it is the best place to go in Shanghai.
The Luncheon Plate is a great value with 7 courses and in vegetarian and meat choices. You get rice, lentils,...
