I love this place! I'm the first to say that I'm picky when it comes to certain foods and fried catfish fish is one of those foods. Went to Gone Fishin' after seeing an ad up on the highway. Service was very good, attentive waitresses and a very friendly atmosphere. The hushpuppies were okay. Got the Fish and Tenders Combo plate. Both were amazing! Nice and slightly spicy enough to get a kick, the only thing better was the banana pudding for dessert. Would recommend going back... More

Had our first and probably only meal here today for lunch. The fried shrimp was actually very good as were the fries and slaw. Baked beans were just fair. The chicken "tenders" didn't taste all that bad, but were tough and chewy as though overcooked. The hushpuppies were not very good and you get three small ones with a meal.... More

Saw the sign by the road...thought we'd try it. It sounded really good. You know one can almost ALWAYS tell how the whole meal is gonna be within the first five minutes after you walk into the door. Well, I got 'that feeling" really quickly. Well they were NOT busy. Everyone talking and having a GREAT time behind the counter.... More
