Cotton Row, in my opinion, is the best, high-end restaurant in Huntsville. Be prepared to spend at least $50 a person, but the food and the whole experience is well worth it. What I loved about Cotton Row is how they took their time in bringing out each course. In a world where we are in such a hurry to... More

Cotton Row is one of the best restaurants in Huntsville! They use fresh, local foods that are wonderfully prepared. The menu changes seasonally and never disappoints. We always make a reservation and have never had to wait to be seated. The atmosphere is relaxing with low lighting, white linens, and an inviting bar area. We have had a different server... More

Was visiting Huntsville on business and was referred to Cotton Row by a customer at another eatery. Was very disappointed in downtown Huntsville, mostly law offices, a few restaurants and bars. We found Cotton Row very upscale and very nice. It is located on a former bank. One can eat outside, weather permitting, or inside. We were seated at a... More

We have dined at Cotton Row on three separate occasions, and we have never received anything but wonderful service and the most fantastic food. The menu changes seasonally, and even the standards (such as Chef Boyce's braised beef short ribs with Anson Mills grits) have different side items depending on what is in season. The wine list is extensive, and... More

The food is very modern and unbelievably good. If you go make sure you get the creme burlee. It is expensive, but worth it for those special occasions.

While attending a conference I was fortunate enough to be treated to two private dinner parties at The Cotton Row. The ambiance was stunning: modern flair in a restored, high-ceilinged building, that was cozy and grand all at once. The menu was creative and everyone enjoyed the selections, which were not only delicious but beautifully presented. Both parties were assigned... More

While in town for a visit, my group opted to try something different than Ruth's Chris. (though Ruth's is always a favorite!). This local place was recommended. The menu is small but interesting. I had to try their famous short ribs and grits and I'm glad I did. This is an amazing dish. Others had seafood and steak and all... More

We have always enjoyed this restaurant - but now understand the restaurant has a $300 cancellation fee for a private function that was cancelled with 6 days notice? Without the option of rescheduling? Ouch! Guess we'll have to search for a new venue.

First - the not so good: Although we were immediately seated upon arrival (we had a reservation), it was approximately 5 minutes before anyone approached our table. Even then, they took our drink order, and we waited another 10 minutes before drinks were brought to the table. At exactly 20 minutes after being seated, we were finally given menus. It... More

Food was good, not inspired- overly busy plates with too many components trying too hard to be haute cuisine. Service was attentive and coordinated. Ambience was smart casual. Wine list uninspiring and uninformative. Prices are unbelievably disconnected from the value of the meal and service. $8 for two small slabs of "gourmet butter" containing ordinary ingredients- no truffles. $26 for... More
