Told my daughter about soda jerks, how they got their names, what they did, and we were hoping to walk back in time. There's a train that runs nonstop around the peremiter of the ceiling, little table/chairs, and junk inventory and some interesting stuff on the walls. It was lack luster. An operating drug store this place still has in place the old time soda fountain. They still make your favorite icreams the way they were made in the 50's.

This place is on Alabama's "100 Places to Eat Before You Die". On our way back from the beach, we stopped to try the milkshakes. We loved our time in downtown Foley, wandering through antique and artsy shops. But Stacey's was wonderful! The coffee is a dime and the Key Lime Pie Milkshake was awesome! There are lots of airplanes attahced to the ceiling and a train moves all around the ceiling! The sandwich menu looked great and very reasonable. Worth a stop, for sure!

Their milkshakes and ice cream are the best. Try their key-lime pie milkshake! The old-time atmosphere is really cool!!!!

If you want the Key lime milkshake, make sure to get there early. They close at 6:00. We were there by 5:00 and they were out of the ingredients to make the milkshake.
