For some it is bad that you are allowed to smoke at the 2 floor, for me it was a reason to go there. Just had a cup of tee but was lucky that some of the youth they normaly hang out there had their Guitar with them and where singing - great time

Great ambience Great food. Cookies are awesome. Biking around India we stopped for a couple of days in Darjeeling... just couldn't stop ourselves. All our lunches and breakfasts at this place. Friendly staff... poor woman single handedly dealt all but had Great patience and oriented towards Customer satisfaction.... Great peaceful place after heavy nights of beer overlooking the market...

Foodsteps would not be out of place in an urban, western town or city, and it would make a fortune! It has a varied menu which caters for veggies and vegans etc in its smoothies, meals and treats. I had a dairy-free vegan smoothie and it was, simply, devine! The veg thali was delicious and my desert of a 'healthy'... More

This is a clean, well run cafe in Darjeelling, that does have quite healthy and fresh food choices. The service is quite good, and staff very friendly and polite. The cafe also has quite a sunny and nice outlook from its windows. Personally, I just found the menu to be a bit bland and boring, though some of my friends... More

I was looking for something different, and loved that they served breakfast all day. I chose the bacon and cheese omelet and hash browns. What a great omelet. The next time I went back for another omelet and whole wheat pancakes, my friend had some sort of breakfast "thali" (which was huge). The only thing that would have made it... More

Food is of a high quality and is mainly western/chinese, and is served quickly. Banana pancakes are amazing. Very friendly owners. Great atmosphere. Upstairs has a amazing view of the main street, but is also a smoking area :(

I popped in with the wife and had a quick lunch. The restaurant was clean and inviting. The food was really good. I would go back but we visited it on the last day.

My husband and I ate here for breakfast 5 days in a row. The staff were so friendly and the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The view at the top part of the restaurant is great as well. Such a great place to have breakfast.
