the place is really amazing...but the food is below average and overpriced. I v never been in the room just been in the restaurant several times and always kind of disapointing. There are much better rest in mysore...

Worth seeing the faded elegance of this large palace hotel. It is charming and although a little faded here and there, it is worth stopping buy for tea as we did. Can't comment on rooms.

We only saw Lalitha Mahal from the outside and enjoyed the buggy ride in the building compound but the hotel looked superb from the inside. We shall make it a point to stay there on our next visit.

While the hotel decor and rooms are impressive, their buffet is quite disappointing. Limited offerings yet price wise at par with other restaurants. Just not what you would expect from a palace.
