Chose this restaurant after a tasty cocktail in the hotel bar. The decor in the venue is quite amazing giving the place an intimate and authentic ambiance. The food covers india and southern Asia. Sampled a few of the key dishes and all delivered the flavours promised on the menu. Whilst none of the dishes were stand out amazing they... More

We tried the tasting menu at spice route and really enjoyed our evening. The service was very good and the food was delicious. The wine list is very high end, I would like to see more offerings in the $50 range. The decor is beautiful.Overall, a great evening if a bit high priced. More

Truly traces the spice route with delectably prepared dishes representing Southeast Asian and South Indian Cuisine. The setting is an overwhelming creation. It feels like being in the captain's quarters of a spice bearing ship. More

The decor in the restaurant is stunning and tasteful. The service was faultless, with staff going out of their way to show us around, take photographs, and ensure that we had everything that we needed. The food was tasty but unexceptional. Whilst I'm a foodie, I'd recommend going here to enjoy the ambience and decor and a reasonable meal. More

It's a beautiful restaurant with a story behind it. You can actually request a tour of the restaurant and one of the trained staff members will take you around the restaurant explaining the different areas of the restaurant and their significance. The food is south asian cuisine. I tried Sri Lankan and Kerelite curries and spices. It was delicious. The... More

We tried the tasting menu at the Spice Route on our last day in India and loved it...they have excellent staff, atmosphere and the overall experience of eating there is something to remember. We sat outside, near where the Dalai Lama had ate a few days before and were always able to get service, but never felt like we were... More

Apart from the decor everything else was a letdown. Bland food, indifferent service and very expensive. More
