A business associate who is also an instructor in vegan/vegetarian cooking suggested that we try this place for our dinner. Although I'm not a vegetarian, I'm glad he did. Tattva is a revelation! It's a bit hard to find, and the front-of-the-house operation lacks polish, but the food makes up for everything. My colleague and I both had the five-course... More

Tucked away at Hauz Khas Village (HKV), it is completely worth the effort to find (and visit) this place. I visited there on a friend's recommendation, and was pleasantly surprised. Really liked the food that they served! The tea that they served was really good, much better than that served by the Baristas (et al) of the city. If you... More

I went to Tattva several times while visiting Delhi. Some things I enjoyed like the hummus and a salad that I had. The organic honey I bought there was also nice. But some things just were not that yum, edible but not like wow. The place is really cute and artsy. Worth a try for organic foodies like myself.

Don't give up on your search for this great, organic restaurant! Prices are affordable, food is exceptional. We each had the five course lunch which started with an energizing juice shot, followed by savory hummus. Next was warm pumpkin soup with red lentils and spices. Next was sauteed beets & carrots with pine nuts and salsa verde. Fourth was millet... More

Even though this place is tucked out of the way it is definitely worth finding. (Ask in the shops to help find it as they are very helpful). The food and atmosphere are fantastic and the herbal teas a nice compliment. Would recommend the 5 course meal.

It is a little difficult to find Tattva but persist with the adventure around the village to get there as this place is fantastic. It is a little haven amongst the hustle and bustle of Delhi. The service is fantastic and the five course menu was not only healthy but super delicious. The atmosphere was very relaxed and tranquil and... More

I spent my first afternoon in India at Tattva, and it was the best decision I made. Tattva took me a bit to find but the search was definitely worthwhile. My lunch was delicious (especially the chickpea salad and tulsi shot) and the team was genuinely wonderful. The atmosphere inside is calm and peaceful. Tattva is right in Hauz Khas... More

Tattva is the kind of place that one comes across increasingly all over the globe, yet it is the kind of place that is very rare in India. In fact my wishes to this place for survival (it is less than a year old) in this extremely tamsik country where people have lost all touch with real, saatvik food. It... More

After searching for a restaurant that honours the timeless tradition of anna brahman or food is the creative power, the creative seed of consciousness, the search is finally over after discovering this divine restaurant that is quite magnificent. I sampled many of the dishes returning again and again and each dish is produced with ingredients that have been hand selected... More
