its a great place if you want to dine in a stand alone restaurant. The ambiance is really nice and reminds you of true British architecture, good food and moderately priced. Must try their desserts from the Deli Counter. More

This restaurant has lovely food and is very clean. Good loos, with seats and flush and paper, and very tasty food. Our meal, with no booze, was less than £6. Lovely patisserie downstairs where you can stop for coffee and a doughnut as well. More

Went for lunch here whilst in Kandy and had a great Indian curry. Prawn Curry and Paneer Curry excellent prepared and enough rice to feed 4 (only 2 of us for lunch!). We had 2 curries, rice and 2 breaks with drinks for under 2000 rps (£10) so fantastic value in great surroundings. More

Kandy has a lot of bakeries and their wares are almost the same with near identical prices. White house is a little expensive but the food was great. The staff was also good. More

We were had here. Picked out a couple of cakes which were priced. Said we'd like some tea with them. Bill came the tea was twice the price of the cakes. Rs350 for tea and cake for two. Across the road on the muslim hotel you can get an evening meal for that! Also Devon just a few doors down... More
