Excellent burgers, cooked to perfection, great size and flame grilled patty. 200 baht but well worth it. if on a budget the vegtable pad thai was really nice, the tofu was flame grilled too!!!!

The food is delicious, cocktails are awesome, they throw great parties and have great people and what's even better, they deliver!

Me and my family absolutely loved the western food offered at the hippo. My dad was very impressed with the fish and chips and i was with my roasted chicken breast all cooked to a high standard. All food was reasonable priced and staff welcoming.

Spent a few nights here relaxing in the lounge and playing pool. Frendly staff and great cocktails. Did not try the food, but heardit was great.

The service is slow compared to restaurants you may visit in the uk but bear in mind that they cook fresh ingredients from scratch. Hippo is a funky Restaurant set on the main road in Sairee, opposite Zanzibar. it has a great bar area with comfy seating, good selection of drinks and friendly staff. We came to Koh Tao many times and every times we have to visit Hippo ... They served excellent food ....especially the Hippo Ribs ( It's a funny name ) succulent !!!!!! If u love spicy ... Must try Grilled pork Thai salad .....mmmmm....mmm yummy !!!
