In the couple of times I've visited Dali, Bamboo Cafe in Renming Road, Dali Old Town has become our favourite happy hour meeting place. “Good food, nice place”

English speaking proprietor, Chinese, Bai, Western & Japanese food. English sub-titles on the menu. I had fried peanuts, fried rice with egg & ham, beef & potato with veg soup & a Dali beer 68 yuan (£7). Delicious, couldn't eat it all. More
