I'm a "carioca" and in my opinion Talho Capixaba is the best bakery in Rio. It's a good place to have breakfast or grab a quick bite during the day. I love their baguete terroir and empadinhas.

It's not a restaurant, nor a bar, maybe a deli, but definetly a must place in Rio. Perfect place to a late breakfast on Sundays. Go biking!

This bakery is a good place to grab a sandwich or have continental breakfast. Great freshly baked bread and nice cold cuts.

The best chicken pie (Empada) ever! The croissant with brie was pretty good as well. I wish I could find it in São Paulo.
