I was attracted by a lot of people in the restaurant, mostly local, I would say – this always should be a good sing. All seemed to eat very similar food and I ordered the same. The name of the meal was "Caruro completo" with fish, which included some local things like vatapa, xinkin, manioc flower with palm, and rice.... More

On the second floor of the tourist/trap Mercado Modelo in Salvador you find a restaurant with a terraceview over the bay. Don´t expect too much of the food but it didn´t disappoint us at all. We had grilled fish for two and it tasted very good. Including drinks: 26 euro. More
