Loved this pizza!!!
Came here after a Lacrosse game with my daughter and we had a great brussel sprouts and green apple appetizer and pizza. She had the peperoni and I had the pie with prosciutto. Both were delicious, the only drawback is that the kids size is the adult size recommended for 2 kids, but what if you only...

Love the atmosphere; you can see much of the food being prepared.
The ingredients are fresh and tasty. Our pizzas were delicious though a bit too soggy in the middle.
I was just visiting the area but my sister goes to Pupatella all the time.

Went for the "real" margherita and was not dissapointed. This place has the real deal on pizza--a chewy crust, just enough sauce and cheese that complements(not drowns out) the pizza. This isn't papa johns or domino's--if you want that you are in the wrong place. This is the place for real pizza done right.

This place is great! Simple good food..not a full service restaurant but a great place to get quality food and drink. The Pizza is very authentic...which means- don't expect greasy, thick crust, NY type pizza...the pizza here is thin crust, wood oven baked and delicious. Depending on what toppings you get, you may even fool yourself into thinking it is...

Pupatella is a gem! About a 15 minute walk from the Ballston metro station, Pupatella serves the best pizza in the DC area at very affordable prices. The staff are friendly and you can watch the master pizza chefs at work while you wait for your pie. It's an order-at-the-counter establishment and it sometimes gets crowded, but the staff are...

The dough is thim and crisp....its almost crepeish in a good pizza way. Any pizza you get is bound to be great but I prefer the spicy meat pizza. Be sure to geg a side of...

I've been to Pupatella several times now. I've started bring out-of-town guests here as a fairly inexpensive treat. The fig and pig (!) pizza and the eggplant arancini are simply wonderful.

I'm originally from NY. I've been to Naples. I know pizza. And for the longest time Arlington had one decent spot for Pizza -- the Italian Store on Lee Highway (though not as good as their subs). Thankfully the pizza offerings have significantly improved in recent years, and Pupatella is far and away the best.
As the name suggests, Pupatella...

Neapolitan style- deliciously greasy pizza with all fresh ingredients made in front of your eyes, delicate crust, simply delicious. Better than other pizza places in the DC area in my opinion.
