My favorite meal is Astor Vegetarian. Being vegan, I ask for an extra falafel instead of the spinach pie.
What a great place. I was looking for something different to add to the flavor of the trip to the D.C. area. Eating here did just that. If you are familiar with Mediterranean cooking you will fully appreciate how good this place is. If you are a newcomer to this style of cooking Astor is a great introduction. It will... More
This has been one of my favorite restaurants for several years. The food is excellent. Their cuisine is authentic Mediterranean style, especially the kabobs and the Egyptian salad.. The price is the best value in the area. The service is excellent. Hard to go wrong with this restaurant.
You simply can't beat this place for the price and the quality of food that you get. On my most recent visit, I went fairly standard with the gyro meal for lunch. For around $9 you get a perfectly-seasoned gyro, a lot of fries, and a soft drink. Note: this place moves at a reasonably quick pace, but is by... More

My daughter and I drove by and decided to stop for lunch. It was just what we were looking for. We didn't want to wait to be served. We just walked up and placed our order. It was ready pretty quickly. The staff were friendly. Food was very good, but a tiny bit pricey. For us, it was a great... More
I would give Astor 4 stars but for a few things: First off, I think a number of the dishes are overpriced for what you get. the falafel platter is about $8 for 4 small falafel and a bit of humus. The mixed grill kebab is $13 or $14 and there isn't much meat. These prices would be reasonable in... More
Located right off Route 50 in Arlington, this is a place for a great, healthy meal at a reasonable price. Lunches and dinners cost $11 to $15. Get a salmon, steak or chicken with steamed vegetables and potatoes and you'll be full and happy. Sides of beets, hummus, lentils, taboullie (sp?)Parking free and abundant. I'm eating at Astor M once... More
