Probably one of the last bars in America where you can smoke inside - and boy do the patrons take advantage of it! If you don't smoke, don't go here. I can't comment on the restaurant but we've been to the bar a few times and keep going back. On a weeknight, it's really quiet and a good place to...

Food was middling to bad. The cold cuts from Spain were decent, Veal Scallopini was awful and grilled veggies were pathetic.
The Flamenco dancer was pretty decent and enthusiastic, the guitarist didnt seem to want to be there. The dancer saved the night for us.

All the food came out at the same time, fish had little bones in it, 2 tapas we ordered with the same sauce came out completely different. And the waiter couldn't give us a minute to breathe. It appeared he wanted to turn the table over quickly, even though there was no wait on a Sat night at 7pm. Very...

Love this place! Come here every time we visit Alexandria. The food and wine are fantastic. I'm drooling just thinking about it!

-Beautiful decor and atmosphere
-Attentive servers
-Options for formal dining/dining in the bar
-Reasonable prices
-Hookah available upon request
-Live band/dancing area
Cons:
-If you are dining in...

We went with two other couples. Stayed almost three hours, though both flamenco performances and had a great time. The restaurant was packed -- mostly groups of...

My two favorite dishes at Las Tapas are the Paella Valenciana and Paella Marinera. You can't go wrong when you pare either of these dishes with one of their traditional Spanish wines. If you go on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday nights, you will also enjoy thier Flemnco dancers. On Friday and Saturday night they have live Spanish Guitar music.
It's...

We ordered 3 smaller dishes, kabobs, pork and calamari. Calamari was rubbery, kabobs all tasted the same (even though some were beef and some were chicken), pork was good. Ordered 3 more smaller dishes, 2 shrimp and 1 octopus. Those were wonderful. So we are not sure if something was going on in the kitchen for round 1 or if...
