I was in Austin for the week. This is THE best food of the trip! I am not sure they have a bad thing on the menu. If they serve it you will like it. The servers were very attentive and I be back soon!

I love Pappadeaux's Seafood but this time wasn't the best. We ordered takeout and maybe that was the problem. However, we were in town for Texas Relays and the wait time was unimaginable. Maybe staff was just over worked so I will give benefit of doubt and try them again.
We have eaten here 2-3 times and the quality is always great. Even the grandkids like it. Need to arrive early as we have always had to wait. Don't recall if reservations are accepted. Well worth the money
I have gone many times to Pappadeaux's for dinner. In the many years I have gone they did change their menu a few times and I wish they had not. The alligator tail was fantastic as was the sauce they served with it. I find the sauces with the blackened or grill fish has changed to some I really don't...

I was not much of a Cajun food fan until I ate here. The gumbo is wonderful, and they have an outstanding selection of seafood. The alcoholic beverages are excellent-especially the Swamp Thing. The shrimp cocktail is also unique-served in a glass with avacoda and a red sauce.
My wife and I love to eat some fish. Pappadeaux's brought it big time. My wife has food allergies and can't have onions of any kind. The manager came to our table, listened to us and headed back to the kitchen with our order. The bread was fantastic, my salad was very good, and then came the fish. OMG they...

We were in Austin for business, staying across the street at the Doubletree. Pappaedeaux was highly recommended by the hotel and it was so convenient we could not pass it up. It was a Sunday evening and place was jumping. We had to wait about 20 minutes for a table, but it was worth the wait. Halibut is in season...

We LOVE the bread, its so tasty and perfectly warm and toasty. Even the butter is perfect.
The Greek Salad with everything is typically how we start off our meal.(yummy)

Was a Austin for a short visit last week and a friend recommended Pappadeaux because it is located on I-35 close to the Frank Erwin Center that we were attending an event that evening. I have always enjoyed the food and service at the Pappadeaux in Houston so this was a good choice. We had a group of family and...
