Busy places are usually an indication of good food.... The staff is acomidating and friendly the service was prompt.... The menu is varied and interesting and the food is well prepared and sublime.... Great flavors.... Interesting presentation ... Makes you want to venture into other menu items to reveal their remarkable version of old standard fare.... Like Allen's Boots always... More

The service was superb and the food was amazing. I had the gazpacho it was flavorful with just the right amount of kick. We shared an order of crab cakes- They were crunchy and soft. The dips served with them were great. The cocktails were creative and perfect for a hot humid day. More

The atmosphere was not quaint, nor cosy, nor distinct. Felt a bit napa valley when we wanted to be in Austin. The exterior and the neighbourhood promised authentic Austin but we were dissapointed when we were seated inside at a booth with blonde wood, white leather seats, and very bad acoustics. Food was good. We ate the specials which were... More

Imaginative drink and food menu. I had a Mango Ginger mimosa and the crab cake benedict. Others in our party had the carrot cake french toast and the brisket and smoked sausage. The selection of salsas and dips was also a great choice for an appetizer. Great service on top of it. More

There were 8 of us for lunch and one in our party called ahead. He was told they don't take reservations for groups that big. We got there and were told all the big tables were reserved by people who had called ahead. The only large table available was seated with two people after we were told we couldn't sit... More

We thought the food was fairly good but over priced and pretentious. Its clearly a place for young singles and not grandparents like us. More

I went here with group of people this past weekend. We called them at 8am to place our name on the list. Apparently they are super busy on Sundays. We had a party of 8, which they told us they could sit together, however, it would be 2 hours. Not wanting to wait that long, we were sat within half... More

Good restaurant! Imaginative kitchen as indicated by the menu. Affordable wine list. Pricey menu, but worth it -- haven't had a bad meal yet, and we've been coming here for 8 years. More
