We love Mexican restaurants who have not "gone gourmet." Rosie's is always dependable, with the freshest chips and best salsa around. They don't mind that u bring your own beer, another plus! There are 2 Rosie's across the highwayy from each other. One is takeout only. Same family, same bueno food. They never miss More

When we went for lunch, my brother and I split the fajitas. The beef was burnt and the chicken was very sweet. I wasn't a fan of whatever marinade they used. For the $20 we spent on that plate, I would not have gone back. Then, the next day we had breakfast from Rosie's and it was delicious! My aunt... More

This one of our favorite places, been eating here for 20+ years! The food is always great, very consistent. More

It's the kind of place that seems like it could go either way. Dirt parking lot, old building, the kind of place that might just serve the best Mexican in Austin. Walking in, doubt percolates to the surface. Hmmm, they think ... excessively-bright fluorescent lighting; sagging, cigarette-stained ceiling tiles; velvet paintings; fake wood paneling circa 1977, bingo parlor chairs ...... More

We live in the area and have visited Rosie's several times. It's always been underwhelming but being in a hurry we thought we'd give it another shot. Forget it. It's obvious this place has no interest in providing a quality product or decent atmosphere for it's customers. The atmosphere is that of a bad cafeteria and the food we were... More

We have tried this place twice and the food was bland and gross. I even had the variety plate and none of the items were even good. Chips were ok and a nice staff but the food was not good More

It's not that great, but it's a fun place. It is BYOB so if your looking for a really casual place to grab a quick lunch or dinner, then I suggest Rosie's. I would suggest going on Tuesdays and Saturdays because those are fajita night! More
