We try to make it here once a month. The food and drinks are consistently good. Definitive Tex Mex! More

As always, we enjoyed our most recent visit to Chuy's. Consistently great food. The restaurant is a little loud, but we know and expect that. More

There are so many versions of Tex-Mex it seems. I love Chuy's though. We go there almost weekly and always have great service (183 is our most frequent haunt). The food is fresh and flavorful and consistent. When you go as often as we do, that means something. More

Do be aware weekend evenings will be packed. Patio is nice. Chip bar for while u wait. Usually great service. Prices are not too bad. Around $10 to $15 a person. I usually get Cheese enchiladas and request queso for sauce. My son likes to always order a burrito. More

We visited the 0riginal Chuy's on Barton Springs in early January. Food remains consistently excellent and the service was fast and friendly. Only problem is the fact that the place is almost always crowded with a wait. However, it was definitely worth the wait. I strongly recommend the Chicken Enchiladas with the special green tomatillo sauce. Chile Rellenos are also... More

Short wait on a Tuesday night. Sat on a lovely patio on a beautiful evening. Attentive service. Food was very good. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Austin. More

Lots of delicious vegetarian options, like the veggie enchiladas, which are loaded with zucchini, peppers, and other yummy things. Make sure you try the "creamy jalapeno" with your chips. The mojitos and Tres Leches cake are top notch! Great prices and service, too! More

If you're looking for "real" Mexican food, don't go here. This is Tex-Mex at its' finest. Truly disappointing. Only good thing was the free chips and salsa in the bar during happy hour. More

I keep hearing how good this place is but frankly I am not impressed. The food is just so so. The atmosphere is awful. Some kid got sick in the booth next to us which probably didnt help my experience. More
