I had heard it was great. The line was coming out the door at 1.15pm, but we were sat within 15 mins. Great atmosphere, burgers and service! More

I had been talking about Hopdoddy for months before I finally received the opportunity to experience it. Everything I'd heard built up the anticipation for last night's meal. AND IT WAS SO GOOD. They are artfully creative with their menu, consisting mostly of burgers, although not all of them regular (delicious) angus beef. You can get kobe, lamb, turkey, and... More

HopDoddy is a nifty little restaurant with a different way of doing things. They use all natural ingredients which are fresh and delicious. Hopdoddy also serves local beers and has a full bar. There is often a long line, but a server will offer you a drink while you wait. So far I have tried the Classic burger with cheese... More

It's one of those axioms like supply equals demand or Von Neumann–Bernays–Gödel set theory that a well-prepared burger and local craft beer out of an iced goblet equals happiness. Now before the non-meat eaters take exception to this newly formed axiom, I've never even had a beef burger at Hopdoddy. I've had ahi tuna (four times). I've had the lamb.... More

Hopdoddy is definitely one of my favorite places to eat in town. Its location on SoCo makes it ten times as great, and the burgers (and everything else) are to-die-for! My order consists of: a burger with their homemade honey mustard, onions, jalapenos, ketchup, and fries (try it before you say, "Ew!"), a side of fries, and a raspberry milkshake.... More

I suppose we should have known better, but we went a half-hour before the place closed (when there wasn't a line outside ) Every table in the place had a reserved sign on it, which I thought was a little rude since there were still people ordering food. We had the burger with goat cheese and mushrooms. The burger truly... More

It has become a tradition for us to include HopDoddy in our visits to Austin each time we fly in from the East Coast to visit family. My husband prefers it if we can have our first meal there! It's fun, it's vibrant, it's Austin! The burgers are seriously delicious with a wonderful, eclectic array to choose from, so far... More

Bottom line is...if you want a great tasting burger...you have to try this place out! You won't be disappointed. Don't miss out because you don't want to wait on line...cause it's so worth the wait!!! More

I was in Austin for a wedding and the friends whose wedding I was attending suggested this place for a good and unique burger. I arrived at about 11:30 before the crowds and before I knew it i had placed an order for an ahi tuna burger, fries and a frozen margarita. Excellent, friendly service - they recommmended that i...
