I went to Uchiko for my birthday and had a great meal. The service was excellent and our waitress explained the dishes perfectly. It was a real treat and I can't wait for another special occasion to go back.

An amazing meal, great waiter, classy atmosphere. Some of the combinations had a lot of flavors, more than I'm used to with sushi, but all were spectacular.

We went with friend who live in Austin. They had told us a month ago that they made reservations. The restaurant only makes a limited number of reservations, so this was not unreasonable. Food is excellent. Great to share small plates with the table. Only problem is the wait. We made a reservation 2 weeks in advance for 3, only available was 9:30pm and we didn't sit unitl almost 10. Same happend prior visit, note both on Saturaday.

They were so packed it was a 2 hour wait, so we eventually sat in the bar. What a fantastic place to eat. We ordered a bunch of smaller dishes, everything was excellent. Save room for the fried milk dessert!

This is an excellent date-night restaurant for a delicious, modern-take on sushi. The "Sake" Happy Hour menu and prices are unbeatable and the brussel sprouts are the best you'll ever taste. Make sure you have a reservation!
