My husband and I ate here where we enjoyed carnitas and lettuce wraps. While the food is good, the place is filthy. No one sweeps the floors or seems to clean the tables.. 2 sets of silverware I tried still had food on them. Outside is a patio area which could be nice, but no one takes care of it.... More

I can't remember the name of the fighter but when the bell rang to start the 5th round, he told the referee "no mas, no mas!" That's the way i felt when we tried Mijo's after a years' sabattical. The place was dirty. When selecting hot sauce, none of the four were marked, we had to ask a busboy to... More

Love Mijo's! I always get the LaJolla plate...which is shrimp tacos on corn tortillas. They have three hot sauces, which includes a green sauce that my friend likes so much she can drink it straight from the bowl! Eeek! Sorry, not me :) I guess most people would call this restaurant a California style of Mexican food not the Tex-Mex... More

Miho's is a little mom and pop restaurant with a faithful fan following because they offer both traditional favorites and unique dishes. We love the fish tacos (the sauce has good zip), tacos al carbon, and spinach enchiladas. It's the kind of food you'll find yoursel craving! More

The food is always fresh when we come here. You order at the counter and usual the food comes out pretty fast. Go for the food, not the ambiance. I think it's good value for the money and it's a good casual place to take families with small children. More

Mijo's has wonderfully fresh food and the best fish tacos I've had anywhere. Their chipotle sauce over grouper is a fine combination. We get fish tacos and double salad rather than standard rice and beans. Tasty, filling and it seems healthful. More

July 6 - dinner - Family, party of 6 Very chaodic...not 'traditional' Mexican as advertised, nor traditional Tex-Mex for that matter. The food was fare, service non-existant, but I give them a bit of a pass, since you order at the counter. They do get high marks for food freshness, as advertised, but not so much for dish combinations. Apps... More

We love Mijo's! We usually go there at least weekly. The food is reasonably priced and they have a great selection. Everyone I know that has gone there has loved it. We are vegetarian and they have an amazing selection for us. If you're vegetarian get the black beans, the pintos are not vegetarian. Their salad dressing is the best... More
