This is the best shop in Ankara selling baklava, su boregi & icli kofte. Though you can sit & eat, we can' t say it is a restaurant. Just try baklava with walnut or pistachio. Borek is worth to taste as well.

I have not tasted their kebabs or other food. But I taste their baklava and definetly it is the BEST not only in Ankara, but in Turkey....

You should try baklava here. There are many other amazing deserts too. It is even better if you try it when served hot.

Food was great. In a restaurant in the old part of town know as Ulus, in Ankara, Turkey. This restaurant is a come as you are restaurant. Nothing fancy but great Iskender (Doner) Kebap.

First time I tried Haci Baba was in 1977, in their original location (Sihhiye District of Ankara). Haci Baba was there himself,overseeing the service.He passed away in early eighties as I remember. It was a nice pastry shop serving baklava and similar specialties.
In their new location they have 3 floors available for quick bites as well as relaxed dinners....

You have to try baklava with pistachio which is good but not the best compared to the baklava made in Gaziantep province. But for Ankara standarts it is tasty. One kg. baklava is around 30 liras (21-22 Dollars).
I'm not so sure about other meals. The kebabs and meatballs are tasty but there are several restaurants better than haci baba...
