This inside PetronasTwin Tower Top Floor (tourist spot, nice for photoshooting) restaurant serves a lot of local food at reasonable price.
the " nasi lemak rendang ayam" ( rice cook with coconut milk and curry chicken ) and " cendol " ( a type of Malaysia popular dessert, crushed ice with coconut milk and brown sugar syrup) is a must...

We stayed in KL only for a week. Acutally, we had two meals in Madam Kwan's. I like the satay the most. Curry is also good. My kids love the fruit juice very much. We enjoyed our lunch and dinner here.

Went to Madam Kwan's at the top of KLCC on our first evening in Malaysia, recommended by a friend. Short wait for a table. It's very busy but service is slick. Lots of tempting dishes on a picture menu which is helpful. Great fruit juice selection. We really enjoyed our meals and the prices were very reasonable too.

I recommend the eggplant and bean curry, the beef rendang and the nasi lemak with chicken. The Malaysian coffee was yummy too! As other reviewers have said, it is a busy restaurant so be prepared to wait awhile before getting...

If you are looking for something...

A very good selection. Worth a visit if you want to get a flavour of traditional food - usually very busy so service can be a bit slow

crowded, long wait for table. its more like a night market ambience, price doesn't justify

I'm not sure if I spelt that correctly but it was so yummy! Portion was a little on the skimpy side though but I topped it off with a Kachang dessert! I'm not sure if I've spelt that correctly but it sounds like the noise that an old cash register makes when you open the drawer! It was a sweet...
