We went here one night on the recommendation of Christina and Michael (owners of Sarang Vacation Homes). Food was delicious, none of the dishes I had either heard of or tried before but all tasted great. A simple, non-fancy eatery providing Chinese/Malaysian fusion dishes. Worth checking out! More

We find that sometimes we want food that we are comfortable with as a bit of a rest from food that is new and exotic. Muar fills this bill. The quality is great, and the location (for us) was very convenient, i.e. within easy walking distance of our accommodation. More

My family and I ate here on the recommendation of the owner of where we were staying in Malaysia and we were not disappointed. The service was very fast and the quality of the food was excellent. They do takeaway as well for anyone interested in bringing food back to their room. More

We went to this restaurant for a farewell lunch of one of out colleagues, and the various dishes we chose (based on the experience of those who've been there before) were just amazing. asian cuisine, great eggs, plants and weeds, meats...Since they were mostly oily, they made us full without even finishing. I recommend, for a better experience, to share those... More

Some local people advised us to go to this restaurant. We didn't regret this at all. The Thai style grilled fish was made to perfection and the Butter Kailan was nice and crispy. For me that was the most surprising dish. The fried eggs were nice as well, but could have used a bit more salt (or soyasauce) The host... More

My wife and I are expats living in KL, and this is one of our favorite haunts. Simply fantastic authentic local food, in a pleasant environment. The food is fresh, different and delicious. The lady who runs it is charming and very un-pushy. This is the perfect halfway house between the "plastic table and chair" places which are cheap but... More

Charmingly rustic restaurant serving home cooked Malaysian nyonya cuisine. The fried egg is simple but sinfully good. The salted egg chicken is another great treat. It's not refined, but anyone who grew up in Malaysia will love this! More
