Tsukiji is my usual choice in Makati for authentic Japanese food. Their entrees are reasonably priced but the qualtiy is really very good. I like their sushi and sashimi but the tempura is also very delicious.

Authentic and perhaps better than what you get in town, I would not rate it to very good. I do think it is too pricey for the quality of food. It is quite authentic - but a bit short on excellence and quality. I was disappointed because it was highly recommended. However, if one were hungry for something better than...

We were here for a birthday dinner. We had the Sushi platter (forgot the name) but had good variety of sushis. We also had tempura, lots of fresh sashimi and tonkatsu, all very delicious. The price is a bit steep but if you're craving for authentic Japanese food this is one of the best places to go to.
Went here with one thing in mind only, Wagyu Steak. From rib-eye to sirloin to shabu-shabu. One of the best tasting wagyu steak iv ever had. Hats off to the staff for the service. Prices abit over the top, but hey thats wagyu beef.

We ate at Tsukiji with my gf and never felt Japanese authentic cuisine this good. I love sushi and sashimi.. Quality comes with a high price but it is all worth it!
They open lunch and dinner time. in Philippine this restaurant is very high pricing and high level of dinnning. However compare to traditional Japanese dishes, this is not real one. But I believe this is very high level of Japanease food here in Makati!!!

The food was pretty good, fresh and truly authentic Japanese. However it is also quite expensive. The ambiance of the place needs more updating since it really looks pretty outdated. But for me, the more important thing is the food from this place and it is quite good but very pricey as well.
Tsukiji is the metro's Emperor of Japanese Restaurants. As the name implies, majority of its ingredients are said to be sourced from Tokyo's Tsukiji market and is flown everyday fresh from Japan. This practice plus the expert hands of their chefs make each meal in Tsukiji worth a hundred fold as compared to its fellow Japanese restaurant.
