I brought my foreigner partner to Phil and he was fond of Filipino dishes. Glad to see this restaurant which, although it kept us waiting for awhile, was offering buffet of Pinoy food! Although some dishes I want were missing, and some good ones needs waiting for refill, it was a generous selection. The food may just not be hot... More

Just eat here if you think you can eat bulk of food. With me, it will be just occassionally. More

Have been to Cabalen in Makati, Ermita, MOA and all of them are the same. The cost of buffet is not reasonable. More

Four of us went here and I was the only 'foreigner', the rest were Filipinos. The food was buffet style - all you can eat for a fixed price. To be honest, I didn't think too much of the food but my Filipino friends said it was ok. Perhaps it's my palate. Perhaps I'm just too fussy and don't like... More

I visited the Robinson's Malate branch & the food was good...the only downside is that it takes a long while for the dishes to be refilled & it is like food rationing as although they say it is buffet but the staff do not take particular attention whether some dishes served needed to be refilled. I have been to Phils many times and I always eat at Cabalen, either in Robinson Mall or Pampanga. The range is very good and for a non-Filipino like me, it is a great opportunity to eat local foods. It costs a little more than some mall foods, but I have never been dissappointed More

For me, this is Pampanga's best restaurant. I'm kampampangan, and I love to eat kampampangan native cuisine! I'm just proud to introduce our cuisine as Pampanga is known as Culinary Capital of the Philippines. And many filipino know that capampangan cuisine are the best. Anyway, back to my experience in Cabalen, aside from "eat all you can" (actually I ate... More
