We hit this little spot up at least once, sometimes twice, a day during our stay in Essaouira. We sampled many delicious flavors of gelato, had some mint tea, and even drank a few espressos. All really good, and the staff are nice and cheerful.

I have traveled two hours to this place just for the ice cream. I don't know what their secret is but this is the best ice cream I have eaten in Morocco.

Hi there!
i come to Essaouira since 26 years and living there more or less half of the year..
I can honestly say that there's no places a part of this one where you can have a great "cappuccino"..super ice creams with hot chocolate..hum!!
nice oranges juices(not always the case as depending of the quality and season you might find!)...

A real touch of the Mediterranean here on the Atlantic -- an Italian-style ourdoor cafe serving a big selection of delectable ice creams and some really good coffee. There's not much else on the menu though -- this place is for true ice cream lovers . Dolce Freddo is great for people-watching too, given its location the square!
