Visited Moon Bell based on TripAdvisor reviews and we were not disappointed. The eggplant appetizer is a must if you like eggplant; it was sensational. Everything seemed freshly prepared and the service was excellent. Great choice. More

I showed up for a pretty early dinner, was the first one in the shop for the night. So Ronery. I didnt feel overly welcome but the menu was accessible to my western sensibilities (was not feeling adventurous given I was flying out the next day). If anything the menu was almost too western. I ordered salt and pepper squid... More

We visited for a late lunch. Blink and you could miss this place on the main road as the sign does not jump out at you. Nor does it look much from the outside but be brave and go in for a surprise. Karen will arrange a great local fare meal and keep you entertained with local and national news.... More

I would recommand this place for a family or a gathering with friends to have dinner be it buffet style or served. There is the beach to have a short stroll after dinner. Just be there early to enjoy the sunset while waiting to be served. Romantic place? Possible. But well worth the money spent. More

I stopped in because I had heard that the food was good, hearty and authentic and Karen (the owner) did not disappoint. I am generally not a huge fan of heavy chinese food, but the flavors made up for it and the experience was a good one. I would def go back! More

Went to moon bell based on other recommendations. Was a little difficult to find, but worth the hunt. The owner was very friendly and spoke excellent English. And recommended some good dishes. The food was really delicious - the best meal we had in KK. The price was very reasonable. The restaurant was clean, but the decor was basic. But... More

Our party of 4 adults and 2 young children visited Moon Bell twice on 22 & 24 Sep 2011. The first time was just a random thing as we were putting up at the nearby Hyatt Regency. The second time was to indulge ourselves and also to thank our host, Karen, for her recommendations. Some of our favourite dishes were... More
