Best scones in town on Tanah Rata that isn't too dry and heavy on the wallet. Costing only MYR$2.50 you could gobble 10 of them! The only down side is they do not serve fresh cream...... What a pity More

We had tea and scones there and the price is hard to beat. RM 2.50 for a scone compared to the hotel/restaurant prices of RM8-9 per scone. They will top up your pot of tea with hot water for free also, unlike other restaurants where they charge up to RM50 cents per additional cup of hot water! Place is however quite... More

Our first stopover as usual but this time they only served cakes and pastries. Too bad we are looking forward to the main meals they used to have. More

We were the first customer today. Order a few things from pie, bread, sandwich, eggs, coffe & tea. The surrouinding has not changed much and so is the food. Quiet place and overlooking the main road. Quiet corners to catch up and relaxing place. Nothing fancy and all in all it is a place you would want to come back... More

Cozy place, sit by the window and watch the cars buzz by while enjoying your strawberry cream scones, a slice of apple pie with vanilla ice-cream and a glass of mango lassi. More

This place has changed it's name from T-Cafe to the Lord's Cafe, since our edition of Lonely Planet. It is a nice enough place to sit and have a scone and jam, quite a few (1980's) books on the shelves to browse/exchange and a few boardgames - including scrabble. The food is generally good value - e.g. veggie curry for... More

Scones, cakes and pies for less than 4RM! Definitely value for money. The scones, strawberry cheesecake, and chocolate cake are must tries. A nice cosy place to have afternoon tea and people watch. The American breakfast is worth a try too. More
