Came across the Loaf by coincidence while looking for a place to have a light early dinner. The setting on the marina harbour is just inviting to sit outside but it was too humid so we sat in the air-conditioned interior. The menu is more European than Malay but there are some fusion options for all tastes. Everything on the... More

This outlet of The Loaf is the original one, and it's easy to see why. While the branches in Kuala Lumpur are more like bread shop-like cafes, this one focuses on the food instead, and pastries becomes more like a sideshow. Me and my wife actually stopped by The Loaf right after arrival in Langkawi (at 1300 hrs), before taking... More

Perfect timing landed us in this conducive little cafe located in a marina. The service was quick and friendly and the yummy treats were just perfect. Not too sweet and with great coffee. Would have loved to try that advertised Japanese dish but we could not get back there but you never know I may just return to Langkawi one... More

The pastries were nice. Although they may be a bit pricey if compare to other pastries shop, but still worth off the value. The ala carte main course was unexpectedly great too. We ordered omuchi rice: it was a fried tomatoe rice wrapped in soft and juicy omelette, topped with brown sauce and fried onion rings. It was really unique... More

We thought this place was a little gem! Nt only do they serve the best tea in Langkawi but the cakes and cheesecakes are fantastic. The staff are friendly and were very welcoming on return visits. We also ate from the Bistro menu several times. The pictures of the food in the menu do not do the actual food justice.... More

The Loaf is set amongst a few other eateries along the new Perdana Quay at Telaga Harbour. It's a bit hard to find if you haven't been here before... just park near the Thai Spa and walk through to the quayside where you'll find Loaf and the other restaurants. We'd been to Perdana Quay a couple of nights before when... More

We drove out in search of the Loaf after reading reviews in blogs. It was all right. My hubby's burger was delish...my deck sandwich was not so good and the pastries were all right. A little over-rated but the scenery you get makes up for it! More
