“The only people in the restaurant...”

A very strange dining experience at Argento. We booked dinner on a Saturday night and were the only people dining in the restaurant. The food was wonderful and the decor lovely... but it was a little disconcerting having the whole place to ourselves. We were left wondering why this place was not packed full of customers on a Saturday night? More

Highly recommend this place for its business lunches which were really good.  The price for a business lunch isn't that high as you might expect.  Overall, it was a great experience More

Excellent (but as always in Almaty expensive) wine selection. Only good Buratta cheese in Almaty Lunch is high value for money More

My wife and I have made this a regular event on a monthly basis. They have good Jazz, Very good food. on average we spend between $60 - $100 per visit. This sounds like a lot but in this town to can pay more and end up with much less. The best bit is the service, always attentive, always helpful......well... More

The restaurant positions itself as a wine bar, and they have a very nice selection of wines. Their house wine goes at about $12 per glass and is very good. Typical price for a bottle is from $100 and above. By the way, prices in Almaty are much higher than what you would normally pay in the US, and so... More
