A super yummy and fun dining experience in Arusha! I highly recommend that you plan on having dinner at Khan's if you are ever in Arusha.
I read about Khan's BBQ and thought it was a bit strange. I was staying just up the road and walked past the auto parts store during the day and that didn't make me want to eat there. After talking to the hotel staff, I decided to try Khan's BBQ - I was so disappointed because it was my last... More
We go to Khan's with tour groups and visitors to Arusha all the time - the food is delicious, the service is outstanding and the prices are very fair. The food is consistenty fantastic and if you want somewhere that serves quick food, this is the place. Cannot recommend them highly enough! A definite 10 out of 10 experience in... More
Sells tyres by day but tasty food by night. Unique street setting and ambience. Barbecued meat plus a range of spicy salads and sauces. No drinks license and limited seating so more a place to go and eat, rather than spend a whole evening.
Delicious food, Great service, Fair prices. The Tandoori street-side barbecue at Khan's (aka 'Chicken on a Bonnet as during the daytime the premises is a mechanics garage!) really adds to the atmosphere at this restaurant. Specialization is the name of the game here, with just a few items to choose from, and the chicken is some of the most succulent... More
Best BBQ in the area, by far. A unique experience, for sure. I ate here a couple of times with Tanzanian friends who live in Arusha. When we first drove up I was a bit skeptical: after all it is a bbq restaurant on the sidewalk in front of a parts store! The food was excellent and of a tremendous... More
Don't miss it!!! A lot of good food, great people and it is something really different! It's 10'000 Tsh for The food and 1'000/2'000 for water or sodas! No beers, it'a in mosque street :D Enjoy The Best place in arusha
we ate one time in this restaurant the food was delicious and good but the only matter was that you had only one choice food was combination of chicken and beef BBQ with bread and a soft drink an you could choose some pickles by yourself taste was good and price of this combination was good too (7-8$ p.p) better... Kahn's bbq used to be a secret tip in Arusha. It was called "chicken on the bonnet" and was run just outside a work shop in the streets of Arusha. Now one can find it at the Mall in Njiro... best chicken!
Passed on the salad. Glad we did as the bbq meat, chips and naan bread were more than enough. We opted for chicken and beef with no lamb. Stoney Tangawizi (ginger beer) was nice and cold. Take a taxi.
