Fantastic location and perfect resport. However, the resort is perhaps getting too popular and staff too keen to implement a very slow enterence policy to their The Rock Bar at the resort which spoilt our visit for sunset. There are many beautiful places to enjoy Bali`s sunset and in a line for the train to the Rock Bar is not... More

We had been recommended to go to the Rock Bar at Jimbaran Bay... warned that we should be there by 4:00pm and to expect to wait in a line - we arrived at 4:30pm and had to wait 45 minutes. The wait was worthwhile as the Rock Bar is an absolutely AMAZING place to be. Everyone must go and have... More

Forgetting the waiting line which took about an hour , the view at the sunset was stunning , it was expensive as compared to Bali prices , and they have dress code u should follow. Apart from that the service was excellent , atmosphere is magical and the snacks we had were amazing. The bar at the top was exclusive... More

My husband and I decided to go to the "fancy" rock bar as we had heard alot about it and seen the pictures of the view so we thought for our anniversary after dinner we would go there for a drink. The cable ride down was about the only cool thing there. The drinks are not bad, bit of variety... More

The rock bar is stunning and a great place to go to - however when we arrived at sunset there was a huge line. Apparently people had been lining up since 3:30pm - so if you want to be at the bar at sunset get there early... or grab dinner at one of Ayana's beautiful restaurants and go after dark... More

I was one of the Ayana resort guests and this differently saved quite a time as we didnt need to wait in the que. Nothing dissapointed me, although nothing especially amazed me... I would probably go there again if I stayed in Ayana,

Did we wait to get down even though we thought we were arriving early? Yes, 30+ minutes. Did we roast in the falling sun for a couple hours before it got comfortable? Oh yeah. Did we order two appetizers and 4 drinks putting our bill over $100? Ballin' Would I do it all over again? YEP! This place was just... More

As this is a must-see list to many travellers who go to Bali, I put it in mine, too. Had to queue about an hour before our turn to hop in the cable car(not sure how you call this trnsportation vehicle that take visitors down to the Rock Bar). It's quite pricey for us, Indonesians but we know that they... More

We ate dinner at the Hotel Ayana which was beautiful. Then took the cable car down the cliff to the Rock Bar. We loved the atmosphere and great drinks. Definitely will return!

Staying at Ayana makes it very easy to visit both their Rock Bar and Martini Bar when ever you feel like it. We personally enjoy going to RockBar after dark when it is a little quieter and you can relax with the sparkling stars above you. Service is always of a high standard at Rock Bar and staff are very... More
