A 5 minute walk from the top of the main shopping area in Leh (heading towards Shanti Stupa) is Yama Coffee House. Yama coffee house is for tourists, with its western style menu. Italian coffee (very good!)indian style tea and pizzas, pastas and pastries. The vegetarian pasta was eceptionally good. Nice ambiance, very firendly staff. Seating in- and outdoors.

Sweet place to have lunch. Staff is friendly and kind, pizza a bit slow but worth waiting for and great coffee.

I think they serve the best coffee in Leh. Ambeince is really nice & book store in good. You will need free time to visit there, bcoz service is little slow but that gives them time to serve you better.

its an area for budget travellers and so the coffee house is an okay place. Not for dining but for sitting with friends reading or chatting.

“Fantastic Coffee House in Leh”

This is our favorite coffee house in Leh. Real expresso, great mint tea. Some of the best baked goods anywhere we've visited. We loved the apricot cake and black-and-white cookies. Everyone was really friendly and the setting was brand new and beautiful.

Yama Coffee House is a great place to sit outside and grab a coffee and pastry on your way up to Shanti Stupa. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the coffee prices are very reasonable.
