This is a must visit in Ahmedabad. A unique cafe based on the concept of GIFT ECONOMY. Went there with some friends for dinner. The food was good and the service excellent. The portions are small but you can get seconds. While we were there, a child gave me a gift and we picked out some smile cards.

Don't come for the food just come for the experience. U get good food elsewhere but u can't get charity like this everywhere. Nice and thoughtful I say. Heard a lot about it, visited it and realised what charity means.
The unique experience of eating at this lovely cafe will leave every person who visits in a positive frame of mind.
This nice and clean cafe/restaurant is run almost entirely by people who volunteer to work there every evening. Everything including the cooking, cleaning and serving is managed by these volunteers. This cafe is an expression of love and service...

Volunteerism is inspired with a visit to this place. Meal portion are small and seconds may be available. Service can depend on the volunteers who show up on a given day.

They have a menu of 5-6 items daily, you can order whatever you want and as much as you want...

I visited Seva Cafe this past weekend. Not just the food but the whole experience of being at this place was simply beautiful. I met Siddharth and his wife, Lahar, in Mumbai at a Silent Wednesday a couple of weeks ago. His generosity and big heart and being in the moment are hard to miss. One can't help but be...
