Wow. I went there based upon TA for lunch, then immediately reserved a dinner spot for the next evening upon leaving. To say we were blown away would be an understatement. For an 11 table restaurant this was amazing and one of the highlights of our trip. We had a chance to talk with Thierry and his darling wife Bénédicte... More

Lonely planet recommendation and they are spot on. One of best restaurants we have been to and we eat in San Francisco, etc. Great wine list, Dessert of golden pearl was a work of art and tasty. More

This is a must do. I travel solo a great deal and i've eaten at many great places around the world and this is the first time i've missed having company at a meal to share the ambience. The view to the west is fabulous. the room where i sat is open to the outside and there is great art... More

First, going for sunset is the ultimate beginning of a romantic evening. The sound of the waves just below us was mesmerizing as we sat back in our wicker chairs and drank delicious frothy tropical drinks. As we gazed at the sunset, we were served tasty appetizers to entice our taste buds. After the perfect sunset (for that particular day)... More

Le Coco's is a beautiful restaurant on the west coat of Tahiti. The setting is peaceful, and soothing with the sound of the breaking waves on the black sand beach. The style of the structure is very colonial... giving it a special atmosphere and ambiance. The food is a delight , and their pastry chef is a genius of the... More

We visited this restaurant on our last night of a 2 week trip to French Polynesia. We had visited a number of the islands and had eaten at many restaurants throughout the area. This restaurant surpassed all the others by many fold. It was not only the best meal I had eaten in French Polynesia by a long way but... More

The restaurant doesn't start serving til 7 but we had drinks on the water and the view was amazing. The sunset views and moorea are priceless. It's right on a black sand beach. For dinner I loved the... More

I had a wonderful experience at Le Coco's. We arrived after sunset, so did not experience the terrific views, however, the sound of the ocean upon arrival was a very nice touch. After moving to our table, the service was very good and pleasant. The food was fantastic. I have been to many Michelin Star restaurants and have to say... More

We went here our first night in French Polynesia. We got there in time for the sunset. They lead us out onto their lawn where they had really comfortable sofas and chairs. We were the only people there and we ordered fantastic wine and were served excellent appetizers as we watched the sun set over Moorea. It was absolutely stunning.... More

Should you arrive early (reservations suggested) you will sit in a beautiful garden area with lawn furniture which would look good in a living room, served drinks and hors d'ouevers, overlooking crashing waves just below you. The sunset is unbelievable. The presentation of all food selections will offer a photo opportunity, and of course everything is a culinary experience. It's... More
