Famous for its seafood, located in the heart of the Old Market. There are about 8 tables outside on the street outside, but most of the diners sit inside on communal bench-seating in a brightly lit, rather noisy dining room. We went on a Friday night which is a popular night out for locals and the place was very busy.... More

Great food and atmosphere - we loved it. Let them show you the fish on the ice at the front of the restaurant. More

Great seafood restaurant with a huge range of very fresh fish and prawns / lobsters. The grilled jumbo prawns, special salad and seafodd soup were all exceptional and great value for money. More

For the price that you pay, Fares is very good. I wouldn't say it's the best seafood I've had in my life, but it was very enjoyable nonetheless, and I would recommend it. More

I don't see what all the fuss is about with this place. The food is at best average. The salad bar is pretty good in terms of selection but so much of it was really oily. The sea food was all right. I feel like the fish was over cooked and the soup seemed like sea food in a butter... More

No alcohol but the service was okay to start with and my wife's fish came up seabass beautifully cooked. My Lobster on the other hand took another 30 minutes to arrive and surprise it was overcooked. Would not return to the one in Il Maccato, but would possibly try one of the others. More
