This place is awesome, it is in the Happening Area of Santa Cruz (just a few steps from Darwin Station). Delicious and gourmet experience, a nice and scenic view, excellent attention and high quality food. It has high quality and standards, respecting the ecological and sustainable experience you have in the Galapagos. Definitely a must in the Islands. Sushi is... More

Bugs, expensive food, poor service... impressive location but not too impressive a restaurant. Risotto dish was boring. Just a pile of risotto. Same with the rice dish.

We enjoyed dinner by candle light on the edge of the water. The only problem was the mosquitos! The waitress did bring us some wonderful smelling bug spray which we truly appreciated. Being on the edge of the water was certainly peaceful and we were glad we had that experience. The sushi was great, too.

Buffet style should mean lots of choices. This place does not offer much to choose from and what they did have for dinner was unappetizing. Dinner was in included with our room and we still walked out on it . Two bites and we decided to go elsewhere. Breakfast was a little better. View is lovely.

Their deck restaurant has beautiful views (like playful sea lions below the deck!) but the prices are outrageous. The buffet cost $40 per person, per trip the day we visited for lunch. They do serve sushi, which is a plus to some, but you can find much more reasonably priced meals in town.

Great view of the ocean and animals such as sea lions! The sushi and plantains were good. Service was slow, which I found typical of restaurants in the Galapagos. This was a more pricey place to eat but not extremely expensive. Overall, a nice place to chill and have appetizers and drinks.

I pride myself on eating very healthy food that I make myself. I know that travelling (even in Europe) often finds me disappointed in food quality on my budget. While this restaurant was part of my hotel package, every single meal without exception was fresh, healthfully made (granted, I don't eat meat other than fish) and incredibly seasoned for a... More

The Red Mangrove treated us like family when we arrived for our Honeymoon. The food buffets were really good. Fresh veggies, fresh fruit, great drinks.... the rooms were very clean & comfy. And the views, oh my God awesome.

Great cocktails. We missed the sushi because it was too late in the day. We instead had ceviche, very good. Sat out on the patio overlooking the water. Had many visitors (iguanas, sea lions). A nice way to spend an afternoon

I came by myself for sushi. it took 90 minutes to bring one roll. Service took four times longer than anywhere else in the galapagos. Also expensive. If you have a major sushi craving it might be worth it. Hotel looked great. Wish I would have stayed there.
