Dock's is a classic and is easiily one of the best restaurants in the city. From start to finish, you will enjoy your meal. Upon entering, you see the raw bar and piano, then make your way to the dining room. The tables are somewhat close, but the conversation level has been fine each time I have visited. I recommend... My wife, her father and brother, and my self went to Dock's Oyster House for dinner on a Friday night. We were able to get reservations. My father in law had been to Dock's with his dad over 40 years earlier and really wanted to go there, so he could take the family to a place his father enjoyed. The... More

When I saw all the great reviews of Dock's I have to say that I was impressed and looking forward to checking it out. My wife and I went there on a Thursday night without reervations and was told that it would be approx 15 minutes.A full hour and 15 minutes later I inquired about our table and was told... More

Among the hotels and slums of Atlantic City is Docks. Been coming here everytime on business. Tonight no different. Manhattan Clam Chowder best there is. Comes with 12 clams and the soup full of vegtables. Comes with hot rolls which are soft in the middle. I got the jumbo sea scallops for $28. 4 large scallops on top of mash... More

We had dinner and had a good time. A bit tight inside, tables kinda close. Food was good. We ordered the 3.5 lb lobster it was good, not the best tho. Great service! Would love to try more from the menu next time. More

Place was completely empty, save for the bar, at 5pm and we couldn't get a table. But the most annoying part was standing at the entrance with my family, WAITING TO GET THE ATTENTION OF THE HOSTESS who was busy chattering away before she could finally look up and acknowledge us enough to let us know there was no way... Helen is wonderful. Dinner started with good cocktails and nice winelist. The daily specials sounded so good, it was hard to decide which one to order. Never felt rushed, although the reataurant was very busy. Can not wait to return next year. More

I only visit Atlantic City once a year for business, but when I do, I make sure to eat at Dock's (twice if time allows it)! The drinks are strong, the service is impeccable and the food is fresh and delicious. If the Salmon Wellington is on special, be sure to order it. For an appetizer, the Tuna Tartare is... More

We have been longtime customers of Docks. Recently we went to dinner, on a weeknight, out of season. In the past if they were not busy and we asked nicely they would let us eat a full dinner at the bar. This night they said no even though the bar was empty and continued to be the entire time we... My husband and I had our 10 year anniversary dinner here. We had a reservation for 7:45 but made it there a bit early. We decided to have a drink at the bar and SO glad we did. We decided on the specialty martinis, cucumber for me and pomegranate pear for him...DELICIOUS ! We sat shortly after and ordered the... More
