I was hesitant when my friends suggested going to an expensive restaurant. When I'm in South America I want to take advantage of good, cheap options. Food here is incredible and they've done a great job with the decoration. It is located within the city walls at walking distance from most hotels. Reservation is advised. Seafood is their specialty and it is really good at a reasonable price. Friendly staff and good service. Very recommended when visiting Cartagena

Nice style, excellent food but quite pricey, we had a quick lunch for 2 with no starter and one dessert for 130000 pesos. In particular water at 20000 not in the menu was sad and ridicolous. Probably the best lunch we had in cartagena.

Brilliant, locally sourced food and tastes. Lovely ambiance too. they could definitely improve service but this is now one of our favourite restaurants in cartagena!

Why can't staff in a top eatery like Don Juan keep traces of natural smiles and friendly interaction? Everyone seemed very standoffish. Food is exactly what they say- very good.
