We ordered a couple of entrees and fish platters, the food was good, a bit expensive but as in most cartagena restaurants. The service is probably the worst I've ever experienced. We decided to give it a second chance since the first time we went there I had to stand up to look for the waiters who took so long... More

We saw this recommended in a couple of websites so we decided to try it. It's overrated and it's overpriced. The service seemed to be some of the worst we had experienced in Cartagena, where you normally receive very good service. The ambiance is fine, but that becomes irrelevant once you see the prices on the menu.

Nice ambience, good air conditioning, hIgh prices, barely adequate service, warm white wine (bottle colder than wine itself). My fish plate was too salty, ate half. Overcooked seafood in a dinner companion´s fishstew. The wilted iceberg lettuce slaw was miserable. This restaurant simply misses the mark...

The service was bad, food mediocre, and value not so great. Cocina de Pepina was 1000 times better. I would skip this place next time.

Our Columbian friends took us here, I don't think they researched the restaurant. Over priced and just average. I had cold shrimp salad that was shrimp swimming in a thousand island type sauce. So much sauce I couldn't taste the shrimp and couldn't eat it all, ruined the dish. Coconut rice was not good, have had better. Eat on the... More

I had the snook ceviche, local fish in lime juice. Perfectly fine, but $10 in Colombia should go a longer way than that. Others around me were high on the $20 steaks. Really? Is that what you're in Colombia for? If you want nice food and some peace and quiet, this is a fine place. Outdoor seats were nice, but... More

Avoid at all cost!!! The food was OK and i was going to write a positive review. I had the seafood stew and it was tasty. But I got the check and discovered that the 2 non-alcoholic coconut lemonades I ordered were 14.500 pesos a piece, almost $10 each... A coconut lemonade $10??? I was shocked. I talked by phone... Average is being kind. The food was OK, nothing to go wild about, and the prices were not cheap. Why the down grade? My friend ordered salad and fries, and when the food came, two bowls of rice appeared, one for me, and we assumed the other was for another diner, and that his fries would arrive in due course.... I found the food to be very expensive and not very good. The service was slow and seemed to be just another tourist trap. What is it with the restaurants in Cartagena? Can no one serve good food. Finally got tired of paying 150,000 for my wife and I to get bad food and ordered take-out from a very small... More

The price range on trip advisor states something like $10-14 , this is completely untrue. Most fish dishes ranged from 35,000-48,000 pesos (50,000 is just about $30 us dollars). Beers were 5000 which is around double the fancy bars. The food itself was good, I order mero with special salsa and it was good, not excellent. The meal was served... More
