Food was passable good but not anything special. Prices in line with expectations. A reasonable choice but not much to write home about. A decent choice for Peruvian cuisine

No, no, no! Only the pisco was reasonable, the food in itself unedible with "wantones" deep-fried in stale oil, shrimps featuring a dead meat smell and the anpanado an oversize tongue of reconstituted meat boasting a fried egg and fried banana, all of which representing a contradiction in terms of nutrition.
The bill for four was in excess of 100€...

Well the answer is: to be able to call this fusion cuisine they would need to master some type of cooking technic. Cuisine is a subtil art that integrates centuries of experience and savoir faire. Can't cook langoustine in oil that is used for meat. The pisco sour is worth the trip.

Kiru was magical for us. We went close to 11 pm, it had rained in Iquique and the houses in northern Chile are not really equiped for rain, so we were only able to sit in a part of the restaurant. We were lucky - there was only another couple and the Copa America game playing (just because Chile was...

This is the best diner in the city
The service is adequate.
The decor of the place is not that memorable.
However, Kiru offers decent food at a reasonable price .
The menu includes a range of delicious Peruvian dishes, ( corvina, llomo a lo pobre , tacu tacu ), most of them around $ 10 - 12

The food here is usually very good but not everytime. The bar has great drinks. Love the Pica Sour and the Coco Sour. It is considered the to be seen in place so it is always busy.

We just returned from our second dinner at Kiru. A lovely restaurant, very interestingly appointed, a bit of the beatten path.
The food was excellent. We had a Coca sour, very interesting, the wine was very good....the Lomo Salteado ( cubed steak with vegetables, and rice) and the fish Corvina ( same treatment ) were both good. Reservations a must.

The food is an interesting fusion of local and peruvian cousine.
Prices are friendly and it also is a bar.
Chill out music, great design and nice crowd.
