I'm afraid this was a total let down. We love German food and really wanted to enjoy something special. Trip Advisor reviews pointed us to here... but: (a) it was a total mission to find this place (we nearly gave up); (b) the service was adequate; (c) when it rained we got wet! The whole area is outside but the... More

First and foremost, this restaurant is no longer at Street 27. The owner (Dieter from Bremen) has moved to larger premises at Street 26. It's also quite difficult to locate as all the local maps I saw don't mark the street numbers, just street names. This seemed to confuse the majority of the tuk-tuk drivers when we asked to go... Since the 1th of February I live in Siem Reap. Had dinner for 4 times at this restaurant. The portions are huge, almost impossible to finish. The food is excellent and very tasty.

Very nice restaurant with German owner. Staff is extremely considerate, friendly, and quick. We ordered Rouladen, Rotkohl and Bratkartoffeln (Beef rolls, red cabbage, fried potatoes) and it comes with a mixed salad as well. The food was very delicious, the portion might have been almost a little bit big after all those thai/khmer curries :) They serve Becks Bier and... More

Our kids loved the sausages and schnitzel while the parents had the smoked pork. Ample portions and draught beer were good value.

The food was not bad - smoked pork and schnitzel, but not great either. We wanted to temporarily rest from Khmer food and eat German food. The place was a little out of the way. The tuk tuk driver did not know where it was. I was bothered by the smoke from the Germans smoking the whole time we had... More

After weeks of purely Asian food a feeling of home was desperately needed! Haus Bremen delivered 110% fantastic Schnitzel and potatoes with a good old German beer! The service is excellent and I really felt a little at home ;) recommend it to anyone who wants a change of rice and noodles!

The place is tucked away on a quiet street, which was a much appreciated respite from the busy hubbub of SR. The schnitzel and sausage were great. We got a side of sour kraut free ( I love sour kraut!).Service was likewise great. We got there during a busy time so we had to wait for our food for a... More
